R.I.P. Neil Armstrong

Neil Armstrong is one of the most iconic Americans ever. He was the first human being to set foot on the moon. Some people deny this but to each his own. What bothers me is that we first landed on the moon 43 years ago and haven't been back since 1972. With our current levels of technology, we should be going there once a week to our moonbase. Budget cuts and politics have formed major obstacles for scientific achievement. We need to change this. Get involved, tell your politicians that space exploration is worth our money, please.

Rest in peace, Mr. Armstrong. The world needs more people like you.

Music Video Saturday: Anti-Autotune Edition

In my opinion, popular music has mostly gone to shit. Most of the blame lies with the prevalence of Auto-Tune software. Any shitty singer or group with decent marketing can now make millions. This week Music Video Saturday brings out some old classics that most definitely do not use Auto-Tune. Enjoy!

Pure Prairie League

The melody and harmony in this song is great. It's perfect for cruising down the highway with the top down under the summer sun. There's also some superb classic rock guitar playing on this track as well.

Otis Redding

Not much else needs to be said about this song.
